AGO First Thursday: Gender Trouble – ARTS & CULTURE

Celebrate at the AGO for Toronto’s biggest and hottest art party. Tonight’s theme is in celebration of the contemporary influence of Georgia O’Keeffe, Maylee Todd, Catherine MacTavish, Madelyne Beckles and more. Georgia O’Keeffe once declared “I am not a woman painter!” Demanding that art be considered for its merit, not for the gender of its creator. These highlighted artists play with the connections and contradictions between gender, art and politics. Party starts at 7PM. Tickets start at $13 online at or $16 at the door.

Flux Pavillion – CONCERT

Flux Pavillion will be performing tonight at Union Nightclub as part of his massive 2017 world tour: Around the World in 80 Raves. Dance it out to some of the dirtiest dubstep beats – doors open at 10PM. Tickets on sale at Ticketmaster starting at $30. This is a 19+ event.

British dubstep producer Flux Pavilion has announced a massive 2017 world tour, dubbed Around The World in 80 Raves. The North American portion of the tour launches in April and stretches into June hitting cities like Philadelphia, New York, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago and Dallas. Joining the tour in support will be special guests Kayzo, Moksi, Spag Heddy, Trollphace, Wilkinson, Francis Derelle, G-Buck, and Jaykode. May the Fourth be with you! Light vs Dark this May the Fourth: Each wine, spirit and beer vendor will feature a light wine, beer, or spirit as well as a dark wine, beer or spirit. Cast your vote and see who will prevail. Will they bring balance to the force or will the Dark side win?

SheDot Festival is back from May 4 -7th for 4 days of hilarious shows starring the best of the funniest of female comics from all over North America.
