Stop by and explore the largest skilled trade and technology show in Canada at The Toronto Congress Centre. With over 2,100 student competitors, visitors can enjoy overseeing the skilled trade and technology contest areas and browse through 500,000 square feet of action, inspiration and demos. 86’D Monday: Annual Guacamole Smackdown – FOOD & DRINK

It’s Cinco de Mayo week, so 86’d is celebrating the best way they know how; a Guacamole Smack Down! Cheer for the competitors; Baro, Che Food Truck, La Carnita, Cocina Economica + more!

Join judges Jonny Gray from Altos Tequila + Pete n’ Chris Neal from Neal Brothers in choosing the best Guacamole in Toronto + crunch your way through all of the competitors for the people’s choice vote! Located at the Drake Hotel (1150 Queen W) at 8pm.



The Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival is in recognition of the 150th anniversary of confederation. The Festival’s artistic vision focuses on Canada thi harough a series of exhibitions, public installations and events. Featured Exhibition Nature is Calling by Michelle Valberg

Is on from May 1–31 at the Scotiabank Old Banking Hall (40 King St W). For over 28 years, Michelle Valberg has photographed Canadian landscapes and wildlife with the intention of regenerating simple beauty into a deeper reflection of humanity. By developing a deeper understanding of the interconnections between people, animals, and the environment, she believes that others can be motivated to take action in their local communities and beyond.



The game is in Cleveland but Toronto will still be out in numbers inside Jurassic Park to support our Home Team. The square will open for tailgating and parties two hours before tip off. Get there early for a good spot! Tipoff is at 7 pm.
