Nuit Rose Opening Reception – ARTS & CULTURE

NUIT ROSE is a free annual festival of queer-focused art and performance event that takes place during Toronto Pride. It showcases provocative, cutting edge work by diverse local and international artists, and engages LGBTQ communities, art lovers, residents and visitors to Toronto in unique experiences with art across the city. Nuit Rose returns for its fourth year this Saturday and Sunday.

Nuit Rose takes off for the stars in 2017 with the theme, What Lies Between Venus & Mars? This year, Nuit Rose honours Regent Park with a major group exhibition of painting, drawing, photography, video and sculpture. Musical and DJ performances will activate the night. Father’s Day Market – SHOPPING

With great success for their Mother’s Day Market – Yonge + St Clair decided to do it even bigger and better for their Father’s Day Market. Luminato – FESTIVAL

Luminato Festival opening evening pays homage and respect to Indigenous creativity, presence, and voice in a large-scale celebratory experience. Paying tribute to the resilience of Indigenous women and the power of land and water, Luminato opens its second decade with Tributaries on June 14 from 6PM-11PM in David Pecaut Square (215 King Street West). This is a FREE and open event featuring Over 60 Indigenous artists including Lila Downs, Tomson Highway, Northern Cree and many more! Free from 7 pm onwards, David Pecaut Square comes alive as Tributaries moves outdoors with a diversity of performances in a four-part program: Roots, Resurgence, Reclamation, and Emancipation. Luminato is Toronto’s global multi-arts festival dedicated to performance, visual art, music, theatre, dance, and magic. Rodrigo y Gabriela: Tenth Anniversary Tour – CONCERT
