Bud Light Dreams Festival: DAY ONE – FESTIVAL

It’s a huge weekend for Toronto considering that Bud Light Dreams is back in action for their annual EDM music Festival! Evolving from the popular Bud Light Digital Dreams, Bud Light Dreams is a 19+ boutique festival experience for a discerning electronic music fan. A new festival with a familiar feel, Bud Light Dreams is a two day, three stage, outdoor, sensorial celebration of Toronto’s music and arts community, taking place on the shores of Lake Ontario at RBC Echo Beach (909 Lakeshore Blvd). Headliners for Friday’s event include Above & Beyond, Steve Angello, Ryan Shepherd, Loco Dice, Green Velvet, Andy C and more! Doors for today open at 4PM! Movies in the Meadow – ARTS & CULTURE

Toronto’s popular outdoor movie night program is back and just in time to celebrate Canada 150! Come down to Downsview Park’s The Meadow this summer for Movies in the Meadow as they will screen recent films with a Canadian connection! Tonight’s screening will be La La Land featuring Hollywood cutie Emma Stone and Canadian heartthrob Ryan Gosling! Movie starts at 9PM! Did we mention it’s FREE admission!

Cultura Festival – FESTIVAL

Cultura Festival is a family-friendly event celebrating the cultural diversity of Toronto every Friday evening from 6PM-11:30PM throughout July at Mel Lastman Square (5100 Yonge St). They’ll be showcasing world music performers, dancers, buskers, international food vendors, art activities, and outdoor feature film screenings under the stars. Tonight’s schedule includes performances by Korean folklore music ensemble, Coreyah at 8PM, a world record attempt from fire breather The Fire Guy at 9PM and a Feature Film: Hidden Figures based on the untold story of three brilliant African-American women at NASA starting at 9:30PM! Swing by between 6-8PM to to enjoy some music, dancing and food for all ages. Also returning this year by popular demand is  Milonga Cultura; an impromptu social gathering where visitors are invited to meet, interact and of course dance the tango together! DJ Shadow – CONCERT

DJ Shadow has has become a distinctive voice in the realm of hip-hop and his new album release features guests ranging from Run The Jewels and Nils Frahm to UK jazz artist Matthew Halsall. Y2K: Millennium Dance Party – NIGHTLIFE

The Y2K Party is a massive 2000s party from Chicago, with monthlies in Toronto and Vancouver devoted to the best JAMS, One Hit Wonders & Guilty Pleasures of the early to mid 2000s!
