Dead Tired
Dead Tired formed at Martin’s bowling ally in Hamilton ontario at the birthday party of former guitar player Michael “Biff” Young (Shallow North Dakota, Backbitrs). George Pettit (Alexisonfire), Phil Waring (Fog of Leprosy, Black Lungs, Keep it Up) Franz Stefanik (okay doke tattoo) and Chris Whetstone (bird rentals, dead beat) filled out the rest of the band. In the summer of 2014 biff departed from the group and was replaced by Marco Brassett (threat signal, kitchens and bathrooms, protest the hero). The bands concerts have been mostly local but tonight this power squad will hit the stage of Hard Luck bar at 930. Doors at 9. Tickets are still available on ticketfly for just $10

Brewers backyard: Great Friday
The Brewer’s Backyard is back with their “Great Friday” event at the Evergreen Brick Works.They will be welcoming seven breweries from across Ontario pouring delicious beers accompanied by a tasty food line up. Find them in The Pavilions area of the Evergreen Brick Works from 11am – 5pm (note the early start). “First Call” special with all beers $1 off for the first hour. Admission is free. Beer will only be sold until 4:30pm and last pour will be at 4:45pm, so come early to enjoy the best selection.
